Scott was trained as an attorney and abused as a commercial real estate professional for nearly 30 years before retiring with his wife Jessica to a little olive farm in Puglia, the “heel” of the boot that is Italy. Beset by the challenges the couple faced in the attempt to make their dream of la dolce vita come true, Scott could not help but to write about their experiences, an exercise that became a memoir he self-published in 2017 calling it Soul of the Heel. Prior to the writing the memoir, Scott wrote a full-length screenplay called Profile of Giorgio’s Killer, a work of creative non-fiction. His most recent work is a novel titled Mis(s)pellings: A Magical Comedy scheduled for publication in early-2020. Scott and Jessica now live a life of writing (him) and yoga and photography (her) in Bali.<br>
