Scott Bergstein

Scott was trained as an attorney and abused as a commercial real estate professional for nearly 30 years before retiring with his wife&nbsp;Jessica&nbsp;to a little olive farm in Puglia, the “heel” of the boot that is Italy. &nbsp;Beset by the challenges the couple faced in the attempt to make their dream of&nbsp;la dolce vita&nbsp;come true, Scott could not help but to write about their experiences, an exercise that became a&nbsp;memoir he self-published in 2017 calling it&nbsp;Soul of the Heel.&nbsp;Prior&nbsp;to&nbsp;the writing the memoir, Scott wrote a full-length screenplay called&nbsp;Profile of Giorgio’s Killer,&nbsp;a work of creative non-fiction.&nbsp;His most recent work is a novel titled&nbsp;Mis(s)pellings: A Magical Comedy&nbsp;scheduled for publication in early-2020.&nbsp;Scott and Jessica now live a life of writing&nbsp;(him)&nbsp;and yoga&nbsp;and photography (her)&nbsp;in Bali.<br>
