I write fantasy and fiction rooted in power, inheritance, and the systems people build to justify both. My work explores the human origins of myth, how fear and order shape societies, and how countless small decisions accumulate into the stories we think we already know.

Alongside fiction, I am a playwright with multiple staged works, including an award-winning one-act play. This background informs my prose through a strong emphasis on voice, structure, and conflict.

The Crown and the Card is my debut novel and the first book in The Heartless Throne series, a reimagining of the world before Wonderland became a place of madness and myth.

I write under the name L.J. De'Rosario in honour of my family history and publish through UmbraVox Publishing. My fascination with justice, authority, and hidden narratives shapes every story I tell. I am drawn not only to what is remembered, but to the untold choices and forgotten people that make history and myth possible.
