Deborah Simmons

USA Today bestselling author Deborah Simmons began her career as a journalist, but left nonfiction for the world of happily ever afters. She’s written historical romances originally published by Avon, Harlequin, and Berkley, as well as a romantic comedy.<br>&nbsp;<br>Her books <em>A Lady of Distinction</em>&nbsp;and <strong><em>The Gentleman Thief</em> </strong>were finalists in Romance Writers of America’s annual RITA competition. Two other releases, <em>The <strong>Gentleman's Quest</strong></em> and <strong><em>Glory and the Rake</em></strong> (now titled <strong><em>Glory and the Duke</em></strong>), were up for The Daphne du Maurier Award of Excellence for Mystery/Suspense. And her work has been translated and published in more than thirty countries, with graphic novel editions available for some titles.<br>&nbsp;<br>She believes in strong heroines, wry humor, a touch of mystery, and love that can’t be denied.
