<br>Dori started her career as an artist, earning a degree in art in college and working as a graphic designer for a billboard company. After marrying, she spent many years as a homemaker, raising three children and helping her husband run their farm. Dori turned her love of storytelling into writing her own stories after watching her daughters and their friends collaborate on a young adult space fantasy. Inspired by their creativity, Dori began developing a sci-fi series on her own—one that has taken more than ten years to complete. Her children are now grown, but Dori still lives on a farm in South Georgia with her husband. When she's not writing, she's probably reading. She enjoys reading books of all kinds, traveling with her husband, taking walks to the pond with her dog, and spending time with her grandchildren.
