<p>Le-Anne
Roper is a sustainable development professional who hails from the beautiful
island of Jamaica. Her current role focuses on climate change adaptation and
loss and damage in her home country, but she also advocates for small island
states as an international climate change negotiator. She holds a Master of
Science degree in Natural Resource and Environmental Management (Hons.) with a
specialization in climate change. She has contributed to several published
works, including Christian learning resources relating to environmental
stewardship and climate change. Through her story titled “The Hourglass is
Ticking”, she won an award in the Christian Writers Award Winning Contest
(January 2021).</p>
