Tim Gallows

My day job is in cybersecurity, where I spend my time defending digital borders. By night, I write about the spies who are paid to cross them.

My obsession with stories started early. I landed my first job at age 13 shelving paperbacks at “The Book Nook” and later put myself through college working the counter at Waldenbooks.

I’ve always been a voracious reader with eclectic tastes—devouring everything from Jim Butcher’s urban fantasy to the quirky crime of Carl Hiaasen. But my obsession eventually zeroed in on the adrenaline of the spy thriller.

I created the Azarias Woulfe series to bring a new perspective to espionage fiction and technothrillers, combining high-stakes energy with a hero who felt familiar to me. My mission is to bring authentic queer characters to the forefront of the genre, crafting stories with as much heart as they have grit.

My debut novel, The Woulfe Intrusion, introduces Azarias Woulfe—a disgraced black-ops soldier with the courage to bleed for a country that cast him aside, and the brains to outwit its most dangerous enemies. In short, he’s a badass.

When I’m not crafting global conspiracies, you can usually find me rolling dice as a long-suffering Game Master for my tabletop group. I live in the Tennessee mountains with my partner, and I’d love to connect with you.

You can explore my latest tradecraft briefings and novel snippets on the Intel Blog.
