Susanne Schmidt grew up in Germany, but has been lucky enough to never encounter any of the monsters she describes in her stories. <br><br>She studied in Spain and the US and earned a B.A. in Journalism from Saint Louis University. Her short story "Gray Geese" appeared in <em>Toad Shade Zine</em>.
