Stories – oral, written, or performed as plays, are the passion and vocation of Gail Nyoka. Her storytelling and written works span the globe: Britain, Canada, Zimbabwe, Ghana, Egypt; and they encompass historical and the emerging present times. <br> <br> Gail writes for young people and adults. Her previous work has been short-listed for international awards, and <em>Mella Mella</em>, her play for young audiences was the winner of the Chalmers Canadian Play Award. <br> <br> Gail was born in Trinidad, grew up in London, and has lived in Wales, Canada and the US. <br>
