About the author
Antonio Carlos Pinto
A.C.P., also known by the pseudonym SOMBROESPERIO, is a Brazilian novelist who, after a period away from the literary scene, returned with a vengeance in 2023. Born in the mountains of Maranguape, Ceará, it was on the banks of the Maranguapinho River that his imagination began to create different worlds.

His first work, "Gareth's Elia," is a reflection of this imagination. A forbidden romance with supernatural suspense and gothic fantasy, the story follows Elia, a young woman who moves to the enigmatic town of NightGlen and becomes involved with a mysterious boy from the Shadowthorn family. Together, they unravel ancient secrets that shape the town's destiny. The series quickly conquered Europe, especially in Germany, and put him back on the radar as one of the most innovative gothic authors.

In addition to "Gareth's Elia," A.C.P. He is the author of other works, such as the futuristic science fiction saga "Maya & Alex and the Mechanized Sun" and the new saga "SHADOW'S THORN," which blends the Western universe with action and suspense. He also shares his theories about the universe in "The Theory of Inverse Gravity" and "The Repulsive Cyclic Multiverse Model."

Self-taught in fiction and philosophical cosmology, A.C.P. created his own writing style, "Shadowspear," a fusion of neo-romanticism and gothic suspense with sharp dialogue and twists that explore the eternal struggle between good and evil. He is inspired by giants such as Nora Roberts, W. Somerset Maugham, Stephenie Meyer, Emily Brontë, Shakespeare, Aristotle, and Plato, but strives to balance the dramatic with the contemporary, maintaining his own romantic essence.

His books are an experience that transports the reader to a world where the boundaries between reality and fantasy blur. A.C.P. is always working on new projects and invites readers to follow his journey.
