About the author
Cheyenne Nolen
Cheyenne lives with her husband and three dogs, where days are fueled by strong coffee, long conversations, and an ever-growing to-be-read pile. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Master of Public Health with a concentration in Biostatistics from the University of Florida, a background that deeply informs her interest in systems, ethics, and the human cost of decisions made at scale.
Her love of reading began in third grade, sparked by a classroom bookcase packed with Animorphs. From there she devoured The Magic Tree House and Harry Potter, and by middle school had found lasting favorites in Neil Gaiman and Lois Duncan—writers who shaped her fascination with liminal worlds, quiet dread, and the emotional weight of the extraordinary.
She also grew up steeped in science fiction. The X-Files played in the background from the age of two, and Doctor Who became a family tradition, cementing her love of strange questions, moral ambiguity, and stories that treat curiosity as a form of courage.
When she isn’t writing, Cheyenne can usually be found surrounded by dogs, drinking coffee that’s gone cold, or daydreaming about a future move to the mountains.
