<p>M. Pilotte has always enjoyed writing, whether it be for academic purposes, newspaper reporting, or simply as a creative outlet. A lifelong learner, she earned a Ph.D. from UCONN. Following her retirement as an educator, she wrote several plays. This novel is an adaptation of one of these plays. She and her husband divide their time between Connecticut and South Carolina.</p>
