Elma Schemenauer

<p>Elma Schemenauer was born Elma Mary Martens, a child of Mennonite emigrants from Russia to Canada. She grew up near the prairie village of Elbow, Saskatchewan, halfway between Saskatoon and Regina.</p><p>Elma worked in publishing in Toronto for many years and now lives in Kamloops, British Columbia.
