<p>LTtheMonk is an artist, content creator and speaker from London, UK, who has called Canada home since 2017. On social media his videos explore the often hidden stories of Black Canadian history, educating the public on topics they weren't taught in school through entertaining street interviews, and one-on-one deep dives.</p><p> </p><p>LT brings history into the modern day with cultural conversations that look at how we can use the past to understand ourselves today, shown through a 2025 collaboration with CBC, in which he travelled the streets of Toronto and Los Angeles to ask participants what Americans and people globally can learn about the rich culture of the Black Canadian population.</p><p> </p><p>As an Arts Educator with the Art Gallery Of Hamilton, from 2020-2025 LT led workshops with students between the ages of 8-18 in over 50 schools in the Hamilton Wentworth District School Board, Hamilton Wentworth Catholic District School Board, Northern Ontario, and in the provinces of Newfoundland, Alberta & Manitoba. And to begin 2026 LT hosted the Canadian Union Of Public Employees Toronto Local 79's Black History Month Celebration, the anti-racism Stay Sensitized Conference in Ajax, and has conducted workshops at multiple schools in the Greater Toronto Area.</p><p> </p><p>You can find his work @LTtheMonk on Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and Patreon, and book him for workshops, speaking engagements and collaborations in Toronto, across Ontario, and online.
