One half of the writing team for Hermit & Star Books, I have always known that I wanted to be a writer. I can remember standing in my local library when I was about twelve years old and looking around at the rows and rows of books. I thought to myself then, "Oh wow. Someone has to write these. Lots of someones! That's what I want to do!" I've faced trials and tribulations. More than my share of set-backs but as of January 2013, I did what I set out to do on that fateful day in the library. I published my first book.<br><br>I am inspired by many different things, but top of the list is anime and manga. Most especially Yaoi, the Japanese genre of gay romance and erotica. Usually Yaoi is told in manga (graphic novel) form, but there are also many amazing novels as well. My partner Curtis and I are a part of a fairly new genre of English language Yaoi novels.<br><br>When not writing, I am being inspired. I spend hours watching movies, TV, anime, or reading books and manga. I also enjoy quiet time playing with my kitty or hanging out with my pirate crew! I have a small Tarot Reading business to supplement my income since I had to quit working a "real job".
