Erica Barthalow is not your stereotypical pastor’s wife. <br><br>Praying hasn’t come easy and her faith has been hard fought. After decades of struggling to pray and a debilitating season of doubt while serving as a missionary to India, she decided it was time to drop the act and get honest so that others would know struggling doesn’t have to equal shame. <br><br>Her writing has been featured on relevantmagazine.com, influencemagazine.com and in <em>Truly</em> magazine. When she’s not writing you can find her running with her daughter or cheering at her son’s rugby matches. A Midwestern girl to the core, Erica and her family live in northeast Iowa where she and her husband, Jonathan, planted Crosspoint Church and she enjoys extended winter seasons every year.<br><br>She is the author of <em>Holy Doubt</em>, the <em>Holy Doubt Journal</em> and <em>Praying is (not) Hard</em> (coming 2/23).<br>
