<p>Matthew Linton was born in Syracuse, NY and spent the bulk of his childhood in a small town called Chittenango (hometown of The Wizard of Oz creator, L. Frank Baum).</p><p>Matt has lived in four different states and has been calling South Carolina his home since 2000. He lives with his wife, Sheila, their two kids.</p><p>When he's not writing, Matt enjoys reading, going for long walks, and spending time with his family and friends.</p><p>Matt's love of stories, and the fantasy genre in particular, was piqued at a young age. He grew up watching movies like The Princess Bride and The Neverending Story and playing video games like Zelda, Suikoden, Chrono Cross, and many more.</p><p>He released his debut novel, <em>Rivo: Blade of the Shooting Star</em> on Nov. 4th 2025</p>
