<p>Carol Tate is the author of the Kiwi Falls Series, which include <em>Heartbeat</em>, and <em>Take Down</em>. She has a Diploma in Applied Writing as well as belonging to Romance Writers of New Zealand. </p>
<p>Living in Canterbury, New Zealand, she has four cats, three children, one dog, and dozens of stories to write. Her sister calls her crazy, she agrees. She's been broken down and put herself back together, becoming more determined than ever to follow her dreams. Her father always said she was a thrill-seeker growing up, action movies, speedway, racing, she enjoyed it all. So it shouldn't be a surprise that when told to make things worse for her characters, things became deadly dangerous.
