<p>My wife, Gail, and I retired recently. We live in a small, rural New Hampshire town. We travel a little and spoil our great-grandchildren a lot.</p>
<p>Now that I am retired, I have the time to devote to my passion to write the stories that I have always wanted create.</p>
<p>A story about a reindeer with a yellow nose leading Santa’s sleigh is first on my list. Recently, it occurred to me that a growing population would make it possible that Santa would need a second reindeer team leader. Watching my daughters and granddaughters grow, I was appalled at the unfairness my cherished girls faced to succeed in a world run by men. These two topics spawned Goldie’s Christmas Wish. A story about Goldie, a young doe with a yellow nose who wants to lead a reindeer team which is traditionally a buck’s position.</p>
