<p>It was her second grade teacher who first put the word "writer" in front of her name, and since then, M. B. Robbins has been working to make that label true. By day, she chases dogs and cleans kennels in rural Pennsylvania; by night, she likes to tell the stories of the voices in her head.</p><p>She lives in DuBois, PA, with her cats, who are all named after tropical fruits.
