Meet Ruti Yudovich, a seasoned author and passionate Hebrew educator, whose literary journey is a harmonious blend of teaching and storytelling. Born in Tel Aviv and raised on a kibbutz, Ruti holds a BA in Geography and Education from Ben Gurion University. In 1980, she planted new roots in Los Angeles, where she cultivated a fulfilling career as a Hebrew/Jewish educator. Her profound dedication to teaching led her to instruct Modern and Biblical Hebrew at The University of Judaism, leaving an indelible mark on the lives of her students. For 14 years, she served as the Bar/Bat Mitzvah tutor in the most prestigious Temple, Wilshire Boulevard Temple, guiding thousands of children toward their special day with knowledge and grace.<br>Drawing on 38 years of tutoring experience, Ruti embarked on a literary endeavor, authoring 13 non-fiction books that serve as invaluable resources for learning Hebrew. From the fundamentals of reading to the nuances of conversational skills, her books have garnered acclaim from Hebrew students worldwide. Hebrew teachers have embraced her works as essential tools in their classrooms, praising their effectiveness in teaching this ancient language.<br>In 2013, Ruti realized a long-lost dream by publishing her memoir, ‘I Hate to Say Goodbye,’ providing readers with a poignant glimpse into her coming-of-age experiences in Israel during its formative years.
