<p>Jeanine Reyes can't stop herself from falling in love with fictional characters, even the ones she herself makes up. Born in Florida to Puerto Rican parents, she started writing short fantasy and science fiction romance in 2015 to indulge in her favorite tropes. Her varied inspirations range from classic chivalric romances to modern superheroes. She currently writes steamy, fantastical romance stories in between studying English literature and crocheting. </p><p>"Claimed by the Captain" is her first published short work. </p>
