Writing a novel was something a young Carmen Allen would dream about. Her first attempt at writing, which by the way, included a riveting plot involving a missing banana and stolen diamonds, was penned secretly in science class when she should have been listening to her teacher. Her science grades suffered that year, but she believed it was a better investment of her time compared to dissecting little dead frogs.<br> <br> Fast forward many years and we see Carmen’s dream come true with the debut of her children’s book, ‘Molly’s Big Decision’.<br> <br> Downtime for Carmen involves reading an action novel that involves a hero performing remarkable feats. Carmen also loves to bake, design or chat with a friend over a good cup of coffee. She lives on the East Coast of Australia, with her husband and childhood sweetheart.
