<p>Sarah worked as a secretary in London throughout the 1970s, in BBC radio and tv, computing, security, sales and various temporary assignments. Her diary for 1971 was published by Collins in 2016 as <em>The secret diary of a 1970s secretary.</em></p>
<p>She subsequently qualified as a librarian and retired a few years ago.</p>
