About the author
Catherine Pulsifer

I went from a high school secretarial graduate to a senior manager of a major international corporation. My employment advancement, however, was not without many hurdles that I had to overcome.

With many challenges facing me, at different times in my life, I coped and was inspired by reading biographies of people who faced similar challenges, and by reading as many motivational and inspiring books as I could find.

I not only read these books but implemented the knowledge that I found in these books in my daily life, both personal and professional.

In 1998, I wrote my first book, "Wings of Wisdom". I was able to accomplish writing this book even though I had a demanding full-time job and two children at home. Part of my success in writing my first book was because I used the goal-setting strategies that I later wrote about in "Wings for Goals".

Since then, I have written additional books, "Wings for Work" is one, which focuses on issues in the workplace and how to develop and use three key qualities that helped me move forward in my professional life.

I also devote a portion of my time to developing an inspirational and motivational website, www.stresslesscountry.com.

Why do I do what I do?

Simply put, one of my primary goals in life is to help others build a more rewarding and successful life. I do this by sharing what I have learned and experienced throughout the years, and by challenging people's thinking to be more and have more. I currently live in New Brunswick, Canada.
