<p>Who is Roger Mannon? Well, he&#8217;s a 72-year-old man twice retired, sitting alone in the dark writing stories for you.</p>&#13; &#13; <p>Roger retired from the U.S. Army as a Master Sergeant. He spent over 20 years traveling all over the globe listening to the communications of our enemies and stealing their secrets.</p>&#13; &#13; <p>After the military, he retired a second time from a career as a computer network engineer. Now he write stories. Many of them are strange. You might say they live in the shadows on the weird side of the street.</p>&#13; &#13; <p>When not writing, he spends his time playing with grandkids, camping, or traveling with Judy, his wonderful wife, across the U.S. visiting America&#8217;s beautiful cities and national parks.</p>&#13; &#13; <p>He has self-published three books. The first, <em>Secret Warriors, Psychic Spies</em>, is a true story. The book tells of his time in a top-secret government experiment in psychic warfare. Two others, (<em>Stange Stories</em> and <em>Strange Stories II &#8211; The Empty Earth</em>) are works of fiction, collections of short stories. His stories have gathered several honorable mentions in various competitions and one semi-finalist award in a Writers of the Future contest.</p>
