About the author
Karen Abbott-Trimuel

Since childhood, Karen has always been passionate about writing and storytelling. Born and raised in the suburbs of Chicago, IL, her biggest dream was to perform on stage for thousands of people one day. But unfortunately, or fortunately, this dream had to be delayed a bit…

At the age of 17, Karen became a single mom, and in order to provide a safe and secure future for her daughter, she had to choose another path. After graduating from Taylor Business School, she worked as an assistant for various c-suite executives of fortune 500 companies for over 30 years. As the years would continue, she never forgot her passion, and on the side, when her daughter, Melissa and son, Brandon would fall asleep, Karen pulled out a pen, her little notebook and started writing—mostly poetry and theatrical plays.

In fact, writing was one of her greatest weapons against stress and anxiety after work and exhausting days as a single mother of a daughter and son. Maybe the story would have ended right here if she didn't share her work with friends and family. Karen's stories were just amazing…

And with a massive team of loving supporters pushing her forward, she decided to follow her passion, go out and start her own one-woman business to produce her plays. Was it successful?

You bet it was successful. Karen would later marry her husband, Gammon, who was also a very talented musician, and together, they would combine their creative talents.

Her first stage performance in January 2000 was entitled "Hear Our Cries Lord." She has established an outstanding reputation for writing quality entertainment and has written, directed, and produced several hit plays, such as "It's Not What's on the Surface," "Recession Proof," "Ladies Night Unmasked," and many others…

Karen's top slogan is: "If I can touch one life in a positive way, my life's purpose will never be in vain."

And with enormous support from her fans and her family, Karen decided to turn her amazing stories into books and share them with more people around the world!

I hope you will enjoy her amazing content, and it will inspire you to achieve great things as well!
