<p>R. D. BASTEK has been a graphic designer, a web developer, and now a writer of science fiction, horror, and fantasy. He lives in Michigan with his wonderful wife Alison and their three amazing children—Izzie (dog), Zen (cat), and Jack (human). <em>Traitor’s Heart</em> is his first book and also the first episode of the <em>Valiant</em> series.</p>
