<p>Khafra K Om-Ra-Seti is the author of <em>World Economic Collapse: The Last Decade and The Global Depression (1994)</em>, co-author of <em>Black Futurists in the Information Age: Vision of a 21st Century Technological Renaissance (1997)</em>,<em> Bubble Markets and Boom &amp; Bust Cycles: Paradigm Revolutions in the Information Age (2002)</em>, <em>Capoeira: A Tale of Martial Arts Mastery, Mysticism and Love</em> (2002), <em>Global Economic Meltdown - Long Wave Economic Cycles: Myth or Reality</em> (2012), and <em>Global Economic Boom &amp; Bust Cycles: The Great Depression and Recovery of the 21st Century</em> (2012).&nbsp; In this current book, Khafra explores many of his ideas, philosophies and deep interests in the martial arts and African mysticisms. In his first novel, Khafra combines facts with fiction in a unique story of a <em>Hero&rsquo;s Journey</em> to achieve mastership in the martial arts. The story spans the course of African history as a timeless metaphor of spiritual evolution, expanded consciousness and regeneration. It is a story that explores the universal struggle of good versus evil, mysticism and universal power, love and glory, and the ultimate test to achieve mastership in one&#39;s lifetime.</p> <p>Khafra has worked as a professional stockbroker and institutional trader for the Charles Schwab Corporation during the 1990s; for six years he was a lead instructor for the BA Completion Program at New College of California; and is currently an active investor in real estate and the stock market. As a writer and publisher, Khafra is actively engaged in the development of online publications which will ultimately include multimedia productions. His keen interest in computer technology and related futuristic issues evolves from his work with mainframe computers in the latter 1970s and early 1980s. He was educated at San Francisco State University with BA and MBA degrees in finance.</p>
