About the author

M. LEE AHMET

M. Lee Ahmet is a forty-year-old woman living in Brooklyn, Connecticut. She is a 2001 graduate of Killingly High School and studied fine arts. M Lee became interested and started writing poetry at the tender age of fourteen.

As a teen (approximately seventeen years of age), she submitted one of her “best” poems on a poetry website. She became a semi-finalist for her poem called “Mom.” Unfortunately, she could not attend the contest ceremony, so she forfeited her “spot” but learned her poem was still published in an anthology publication. (Her poem “Mom” can be read on her Facebook author account).

She is an author who prefers to write non-fiction novels. She is currently the author of two published novels. Her first two are written in the non-fiction genre. The same goes for her third novel called “Toxic Vows.”
Toxic Vows is an “empowering” story of overcoming troubling events. She entered a malicious union between her and someone she was ultimately not meant to be with but destined to create life with (a son). A loving bond like no other in this world (a mother and her sons).

Once she completes her third novel, she will work toward writing her fourth. This novel will be her first work of fiction about a young couple who find themselves helplessly in love and later learn that no matter how hard you try to be with someone, sometimes destiny intends other plans for your lives instead. This novel will be called “Pain is Holding the Disguise.”

Pain is Holding the Disguise will be written similarly but also very differently than Toxic Vows. The difference is this novel will be based on the fiction genre. A story about a couple everyone would envy (in the beginning). In the end, not so much.

STAY TUNED …
