<p>Short-listed for the Michael Marks Awards and To Hell With Publishing Prize, I’m a longtime digital nomad and portable author at peace with my seven-kilo bag. In this way I’ve spent more than a decade on the road, crossing several continents in the process, with extended stays in China, Ethiopia, and Brazil. The one constant being a love of fiction writing—I’m as passionate as ever about composing novels on the move.<br />

Recent travelling highlights include a micro-publishing expedition to Juazeiro do Norte, a musical pilgrimage to Mindelo, and collaboration with the Tobiya Poetic Jazz group in Addis Ababa.</p>
