<p>Risto has lived a hectic working life as a trial lawyer, during which he has learnt a lot about human nature. After retirement, he has made a change into a science fiction writer. He is most interested in realistic world-building (rather than fantasy writing), as if everything might actually happen, and in writing across genres. He wants to study human behaviour and societal systems. In his spare time, he enjoys playing the saxophone, painting with oils, and rowing indoors.</p>
