<p>About the Author<br>Paula F. (Pfeiffer) Winskye, a North Dakota native, began writing stories about horses at age 12.<br>However, she did not publish her first book until 2003. She published her 28th novel in 2025. <br>Winskye is best known for her Tony Wagner mystery series, which has grown to 13 volumes.
