I never once thought I could, or would, become a writer. If it hadn’t been for a dear friend’s encouragement, I wouldn’t have tried to either. This is me, just as shocked as everybody else who knows me. :)

Question: How long does it take you to write a book?

Answer: It depends on how complicated the story is and therefore how much research needs to be done for it. It can take anywhere from a few months to a full year to write just the basic storyline. Then it’s edit, edit, edit.

Question: How many hours a day do you write?

Answer: That depends on the day, what my daily schedule is like, and how I’m feeling. I certainly don’t have a set amount of time or even a set word count that I aspire to reach every day. I just write what I can, when I can.
