D.R. Ransdell torments writing students during the day and characters at night. She resides in Tucson, where she also plays with a mariachi. Her latest books include <em>Dervla Alarms the Nanas</em>, a humorous paranormal mystery set in Tucson, <em>Olive Envy</em>, in which Gina's educational trip to Italy teaches her about loyalty and rivalries, and <strong><em>The Cézanne Chihuahua</em></strong>, a humorous mystery set in the French Riviera.<br>
