Denise Ohio

<p>Writer/filmmaker Denise Ohio has made feature films such as <em>Verona: The Story of the Everett Massacre </em>(Virgil Entertainment) and <em>Amazing World</em> (Northern Arts/Naiad), as well as shorts, worked as a consulting producer and teacher, and had articles, essays, and criticism published on filmmaking, beekeeping, and literature. She&#8217;s had one nonfiction book, <em>Five Essential Steps in Digital Video: A DV Moviemaker&#8217;s Tricks of the Trade </em>(Que) and three novels, <em>Blue</em> (McPherson &amp; Company), <em>End of the Empire </em>(St. Martin&#8217;s Press), and <em>The Finer Grain </em>(Naiad Press) published. She has just published &#8220;The Curious Case of the <em>City of Everett&#8221;</em> and is working on a multipart, combined nonfiction/fiction project, <em>A Thousand Faces.</em> She&#8217;s not on Instagram, Twitter, or Facebook because life is too short for that crap.
