<p>I am an author of contemporary romantic women’s fiction that explores the power of love and human resilience in the wake of trauma and abuse. I grew up in foster care from the age of eight and I am passionate about improving the world through literature, empathy, and understanding. I also use my voice to blog about mental health, trauma, and ways we can be more compassionate as a society on my website.</p>
<p>I live in northern Virginia with my husband, two children, and two playful kittens. When I’m not writing, I’m likely reading or exploring nature with my family.</p>
