Dorothy Preston Pollard Morris was born and raised in
Seminary and Hattiesburg Mississippi. She is the eldest
daughter of the late Bernice Watts Bullock and Pastor
Hardy Preston. Dorothy graduated from L.J. Rowan High
School in Hattiesburg and later attended Bryant and
Stratton Business College.
She received multiple awards and is certified in several professional areas. Dorothy worked fifteen years at Time
Inc, five years at Bekin Van Lines. She has been a financial
analyst with Seko Worldwide in Itasca, IL for over 31
years.
Dorothy’s son’s Felix Pollard and Ivan Morris, her
daughter in love Latoya, and her grandchildren, Dillon,
Dorian, Ivan Jr, Zuri, and Ivory are the rhythm of her
heartbeat.
She undeniably loves her siblings and family remains at
the center of her life. Dorothy has cultivated and
perfected gifts for use in the body of Christ. She’s a pianist
and organist, a psalmist, a licensed missionary, and a
recording artist.
Dorothy, Dot as she is affectionately known has experienced challenges and triumphs. Her wisdom, values,
morals, and spiritual background are why she is an over?
comer. Dorothy describes her journey in this way:" If
everything that I've gone through in my life can be a
blessing to someone in their walk of life and will give them
the strength and courage to push forward and be delivered, then it's all worth it." Dorothy's only desire is to be
pleasing in the sight of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ so
that when her work here on earth is done, she will hear
Him say "Welcome, thou good and faithful servant"
