Natacha Guyot, PhD is a French media scholar who has presented and published her work in several countries. Her education includes a professional degree in media production (ESRA), two Master’s: Film and Media Studies (Paris III Sorbonne Nouvelle), Digital Culture and Technology (King’s College London), and a PhD in Humanities – Aesthetic Studies (University of Texas at Dallas).<br><br>A longtime feminist passionate about Science Fiction, her fields of expertise are women in American film and television, storytelling and the hero’s journey, and the relationship between science and religion. Her other books include <em>The Science Is Out There: Dana Scully’s Feminism in The X-Files</em> and <em>A Galaxy of Possibilities: Storytelling and Representation in Star Wars</em>.<br><br>She currently lives in Virginia where she supports women and femmes as an Intuitive Guide, Story Weaver, and Tarot Reader, so they can live, work, and play in alignment with less shame and self-judgment.<br><br>If you peek into her office, you will commonly find cats on her desk, a mug of earl grey, many notebooks and tarot decks, and metal music may be playing on the speakers.<br>
