Tamara Jerée (they/them) is an indie bookseller based in Chicago. A <em>Twilight</em>-era reader with an academic background in writing, they love combining speculative and literary tropes within the paranormal romance genre. Sharp/soft sapphic pairings are their weakness; vampires and demons are their best friends. Their short stories have appeared in the Shirley Jackson Award-winning anthologies <em>Unfettered Hexes: Queer Tales of Insatiable Darkness</em> and <em>Professor Charlatan Bardot’s Travel Anthology</em>. Their poem “goddess in forced repose” in <em>Uncanny Magazine</em> was nominated for the inaugural Ignyte Award. <em>The Fall That Saved Us</em> is their debut novel and a finalist for the Indie Ink Award.<br>
