Mark Messmore

“Let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us…”

Mark Messmore was born and raised in Ashland, Ohio, and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Preaching from Kentucky Christian University and a Master of Theology from Campbellsville University. He has since worked full-time in ministry for over 15 years, serving churches in Indiana, Ohio, and Kentucky.

In addition to spreading the Word of God through his congregation and those he meets in the course of his day, Mark has recently published his first book. Understanding that preaching is a challenge for even accomplished practitioners, Simple Preaching Prep, is a guide to help those who are new to the job, are looking for new ways to reach their congregations, or have become stuck in a rut, to prepare a sermon to be proud of.

Now living in Kentucky, with his wife Kara, their two sons, and two dogs, Mark enjoys the freedom that running affords him in his spare time and has completed 5 full marathons and more than a dozen half marathons. He also enjoys reading, writing, and computer programming.

He is, above all, passionate about helping others truly grasp and apply God's Word through preaching and teaching, wherever he is called upon to do it and as far as the future is concerned, he hopes to be able to contribute as much as he can to the upbuilding of God’s Kingdom.

You can contact or connect with Mark Messmore at:
 Website: https://MarkMessmore.com
Email: Mark@MarkMessmore.com
 Twitter: https://twitter.com/mmessmore
Facebook: https://Facebook.com/AuthorMarkMessmore
