<p>April Browne lives with her husband, toddler, and a beautiful Minnie Dog. Unfortunately, we lost our Daisy Dog to cancer before <em>Cupcakes and Crime</em> was published. As such, fifteen percent of profits from this series will be donated to canine cancer research. </p><p><br>The dogs in this series are based on our own Minnie and Daisy. Their fluffy white fur does get everywhere and sticks to everything just like in the books.<br></p>
