During my 30-year working career, I was a water quality chemist, environmental scientist, air quality modeler, consultant, and technical writer.<br><br>In my spare time, I worked on projects in aquaculture, hydroponics, aquaponics, bioremediation, and renewable energy. In addition to teaching General Biology and Physical Science in an international school in Southeast Asia, I have also been an adjunct instructor at two colleges in the United States where I taught Cellular Biology and Business Math.<br><br>Now, I am retired and writing this from a tropical island in Southeast Asia where I live with my wonderful and amazing wife of over 50 years; we have been blessed with four awesome adult children and with three pre-born babies awaiting us in Heaven. <br><br>--Nick Nichols
