Sabrina Rongstad Bravo is a world traveler, has lived in England, Nicaragua, Italy, and currently in California. She is a graduate of Queens University MFA in Creative Writing Latin America program and has written three books of poetry and two academic books. She has written research and historical books, <em>Whores, Wives, and Nannies: Roles for Women in Literature and </em><em>Bitten by the Duende: Insights by Lorca.<strong> </strong> The Believers in Life: Early Poems from 1997-2007 </em> is her first book of poetry written before graduate school. She is the Founder of The Spanish Language Center, and has taught Spanish for 18 years and specializes in taking students on one of a kind excursions and study abroad programs to Latin America. She's also a passionate performance poet, actress, culinary enthusiast, gardener and animal advocate. She resides in Los Angeles with her cat, Baby Boo aka Marlon Brando.
