Krissy Baccaro

<p>Krissy was born and raised in Upstate New York in the charming town of Fairport where she has been teaching for over 25 years. She’s married to her childhood friend and together they have five children in their twenties, a dog and a hedgehog.</p><p>Krissy remembers her love of reading as a young child and how she couldn’t get enough of great books such as&nbsp;<em><strong>The Chronicles of Narnia,</strong>&nbsp;<strong>Lord of the Rings,</strong></em>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<em><strong>The Hobbit</strong></em>. Her love of mystery was first revealed within the pages of&nbsp;<em><strong>From The Mixed-Up Files of Mrs. Basil E. Frankweiler</strong></em>&nbsp;by E.L. Konigsburg and&nbsp;<em><strong>Nancy Drew</strong></em>&nbsp;mystery series. She mostly reads mystery, suspense, and thriller novels but also enjoys fantasy and historical fiction. Some of her favorite suspense/thriller authors are Janelle Brown, Karin Slaughter, Lisa Jewel, Kate White, and Lisa Gardner.</p><p>Krissy recently published&nbsp;<a href="https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B09GMMXKGR/ref=dbs_a_def_rwt_hsch_vapi_tkin_p1_i2"><em><strong>One Last Secret</strong></em></a>, the second book in the&nbsp;<strong>Ella Perri Mystery Series</strong>, and is currently working on the prequel. In addition to that, four of her short fiction thrillers have been bundled together into a&nbsp;<a href="https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B09QLM614J/ref=dbs_a_def_rwt_hsch_vapi_tkin_p1_i0">Psychological Thriller Box Set</a>.&nbsp;</p><p>The author is a proud member of several online writing groups, and most active in Active Alumni Writers. The Alumni helps authors critique and support one another’s writing projects to polish stories into bestsellers.</p><p>Currently, Krissy teaches writing and reading to 5th-grade students and loves it. She continues to share her love of reading and writing and everything she continues to learn about them with her students every day. When the school day ends, the writing begins, and there is never enough time for that. The author resides in upstate New York not far from Skaneateles, where Ella Perri’s mysteries begin.</p>
