<p>Somnauth Narine is a writer of short stories, plays, and movie scripts.  He has published an anthology of short stories, a children’s book, and movie scripts that have been converted into independent movies like <em> Brown Sugar Too Bitter for me</em> (Parts 1 and 2), <em>Forgotten Promise</em>, and <em>Protection Game</em>. <em>Rage from the Backwater</em> is his first novel.</p>
<p>He is a retired New York City Public School teacher and lives in Brooklyn, New York.</p>
