<p>David Lee Holcomb was born on a military base in Montgomery, Alabama, and grew up in a small town in the northern part of the state. Throughout his adult career he worked as a graphic designer in television news in Birmingham, Miami, and Dallas. David now lives in northwest Arkansas where he grows orchids, plays the saxophone, paints, and writes novels.</p>
