<p><em>John Cranford is a retired Federal and State Bank Regulator. His career spanned over 40 years; first with the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) and then with the Alabama State Banking Dept. He also served in the U.S. Army as a Combat Engineer in Vietnam.  He currently lives with his wife Dot in Lawrenceville, GA.  He has three grown sons, four grandsons and one granddaughter, all of whom live in the Atlanta area. </em></p>
