L. E. Stewart grew up in Tennessee, surrounded by horses and cows....literally. After she got a B.F.A in filmmaking and writing from the Savannah College of Art and Design, she moved to California, where she currently works as a writer and as a prop master for films and web series.</p>

The View From Here is (very loosely) based on her time spent working as a wrangler on a dude ranch in Wyoming.</p>
<p>
Her next book, Famous, will be based in the world of her current career, working as a prop master on some very strange and interesting films.</p>
