Magical Artifacts Institute: The Complete Series Kindle Edition
Dangerous Fae artifacts. Creepy basements. One unfortunate binding spell. What could go wrong?
Joining the Magical Artifacts Institute as an artifact hunter has always been my dream job. Problem is, they keep rejecting my applications. So when I find a dangerous Fae artifact stashed in my temp job’s basement, I know I’m about to prove them wrong.
Unfortunately, the arrogant stranger who interrupts my find doesn’t agree with my good fortune. Aidan belongs to the Institute and insists on following procedure and confiscating my artifact. He’s welcome to try, but there’s one small problem.
Oops, make that two: he’s triggered a binding spell that won’t allow more than a few feet between us, and someone has unleashed a nightmarish Fae hound that’s trying to turn us into lunch.
Now I must break the bond, escape the hound, convince Aidan that I’d be the best Institute worker ever, and figure out who’s willing to kill to get to my artifact. Sounds hard? That’s okay—I might be only one-sixteenth Fae, but I’ve got plenty of tricks up my sleeve!
Binge the Magical Artifacts Institute series—a fun, fast-paced Urban Fantasy series featuring tricky Fae, magic, adventure, and an opposites-attract slow burn romance.

Finding Fae Artifacts
Playing Fae Games
Breaking Fae Spells

About the author

Isa Medina loves writing and reading Urban Fantasy books, playing MMORPGs, and scouring the Internet for pet pictures and beautiful art.
As a child, she was first introduced to the world of Fantasy through Dragonlance and she has never looked back. She also has a soft spot for Gothics and treasures all her old Victorian Holt paperbacks. If it has Fae, ghosts, vampires, demons, mythical creatures, or magic in it, she's all in.

- Reviewed in the United States on November 3, 2022This was a good, fun series. Lots of comedy, lovable characters. The female lead was a hoot, total optimist and endless perseverance. She's not one of those super- powerful, super model types but a very relatable mostly human that is really endearing and funny. The male lead was fun and stoic and tried so hard not to be charmed by her--total fail. They had great chemistry but the romance (clean and very sweet and fun) wasn't the focus. Story was fast paced and enthralling, drawing me in, but also light hearted and full of situational comedy. Loved the secondary characters. Even though they weren't very well fleshed out, they were still vibrant and added so much life to the series. This wasn't a profound, thought provoking story, but more of a feel-good escape from reality. So don't expect some life-altering experience. But I laughed. A lot. Read the series in two sittings and couldn't stop smiling. But that's what reading is all about, right? Finding enjoyment and a temporary sabbatical from all the mundane, drudgery of everyday life?
- Reviewed in the United States on January 28, 2023What a fun story! Maddie is spunky and confident. Also pretty smart. She wants to work at the institute but keeps getting rejected. Until her and the director end up working together and she gets him to promise her a job. A lot of hijinks ensue and she ends up in Faerie among other things. But leave it up to Maddie to get herself out of any situation.
If urban fantasy is your thing, then this is the boxset for you. I highly enjoyed it!
- Reviewed in the United States on March 7, 2024The characters are lovable and so quirky! Loved every second of this series! The snark and banter were top notch.

- Reviewed in the United States on November 15, 2022I had no idea what to expect from this book except that it was about the far world. In short I loved it! The writing is great with no typos(they can be super annoying) and The characters were well thought out and innovative. I found myself laughing at the lead characters’ antics on many occasions.
Please give this book a read, you won’t be sorry. I’m definitely going to read any more of
this authors books that I find!
- Reviewed in the United States on December 13, 2022The story and characters were ok. Grammar mistakes and typos were minimal. But I had a hard time getting into these books. Any time I stopped, I would have to re-read the previous chapter ...so I would know what was going on. I really wanted to love these books, but I didn't.
- Reviewed in the United States on August 4, 2024Maddie has wanted to work for the Institute her whole life, so of course when she final gets the chance, things go sideways. I really loved the characters in this series, especially Greenie, and the storylines are great. The series is full of humor and action, and I hated having real life intrude. I am looking forward to more from the author.
- Reviewed in the United States on January 29, 2024I would give this series a ton of stars. It was awesome. I read it as the complete series in one go from KU. So the fact the books were short didn’t matter to me. Maddie is my favorite new MC and Adian….what can I say he is hot 🫠and taciturn and a stand guy I am totally crushing on him as Maddie would say 🤣😂

5.0 out of 5 stars lots of fun
Maddie longs to be an artefact hunter, and in her attempts faces all types of challenges and adventures, written with humour, sometimes quite confusing - well that’s what happens when dealing with fae!
An easy fun read

5.0 out of 5 stars Great humour!
This series offers a collection of quirky characters trying to outwit each other as they steal, trade, lose and misuse a variety of contraband magical artifacts. The heroine's impetuous, sneaky and irreverent personality makes her some loyal friends in a budding new career as a magical artifacts hunter. Lots of lighthearted fun and narrow escapes from diverse criminals makes this a very enjoyable read. It's a breath of fresh air from the usual "Impending End
of the World" sagas which are riddled with impossibly evil and with boringly noble figures battling tirelessly towards a predictable final battle. I hope this series continues!
