Rowan Duncan (b. 1977) is an American writer from West Texas. His writing explores themes like Nature, Existentialism, and the darker aspects of Human Nature.<br>His range of genres includes Crime, Neo-Noir, Neo-Western, Thriller, Horror, Southern Gothic, and others. Literary influences include Edgar Allan Poe, Arthur Conan Doyle, Ernest Hemingway, J.D. Salinger, Stephen King, and Cormac McCarthy.<br>He began writing at the age of fifteen after winning a short story contest put on by his 8th grade English teacher.
